The St. Therese Conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society has been an integral group of St. Therese Parish since the Parish began in 1949. Fifty (50+) members, organized into 13 teams, serve the hungry in north Lansing by operating its food pantry, a satellite of the Lansing Food Bank, every weekday.
Our north-Lansing clients select food and personal items they need from our pantry shelves stocked from:
We also provide clothes and bed vouchers to those in need to shop at the to the St. Vincent de Paul Store in downtown Lansing.
We have been blest to continue our operation - safely - throughout the COVID-19 health crisis.
We have a corporate meeting every 2 months and a picnic every September.
We always accept new members to join our Conference.

Charity, Unity and Fraternity are three guiding principles of the Knights of Columbus.
Our Council has thirty-six (36) members and is always seeking new members ages of 18 and older. You must be a practicing Catholic to be inducted into our group.
The New Knights of Columbus membership allows inductees to participate in three degree-level programs, each video about thirty minutes long. At the end of the training sessions you are eligible to hold an office in the council.
St. Therese Knights are involved in almost every aspect of our St. Therese Parish family from the Food Pantry, Lectors, Greeters, Ushers, Eucharist Ministers, Choir, Pancake Breakfasts, Anti-Dismemberment Petition and many special projects. We raise money for Seminarians, children with special needs and other community projects.
We meet one Monday a month at 7:00 pm.

The Saint Bernadette Circle exists, first and foremost, to satisfy our Parish's biannual need for cinnamon roles! We bake them, frost them and sell them at least twice each year.
We also sell Poinsettia plants at Christmast time.
These moneymakers allow the Circle to help out financially with projects within the Church and other charities.
We meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 1:30 pm in a member's home or in the Juan Diego Room of the school building.
We always welcome new women to join us.

The Our Lady of Lourdes Circle is a group of women coming together for socialization and prayer. Our primary fund raisers are a Christmas Sleigh basket Raffle and an Easter Basket raffle. The proceeds from these fundraisers pay for our dues to the Conference of Catholic Women, helping defray the cost of cleaning the alter linens, and placing an ad in the weekly church bulletin. We do not pay dues to be part of our circle but all contribute what they can for filling the sleighs and baskets.
Our group meets the second Wednesday of every month, at 2:00pm in the Jaun Dego room.
Any one interested in more info or joining our group may contact me Cathy Jo Ramsey at cathyjor@sbcglobal.net or 517-881-1914 Please leave a message.

Meetings are in member’s homes from September to June, on the first Wednesday of the month from 7-8:30pm. New members are always welcomed. Please contact Pat Droste for information.
